COASTAL FORAGING WITH OCEAN COWBOY
Camp Yoshi Field Trips: Into the Pacific with Ocean Cowboy Outfitters
Diving Deep, Harvesting Sustainably, and Connecting to the Water
The land has always been our playground, but now we’re stepping into a different kind of wild—the cold, rugged waters of the Oregon Coast. This isn’t just snorkeling; this is a full immersion into coastal foraging, ecology, and movement. It’s about learning to read the ocean, harvesting food with your own hands, and developing a deep respect for the water and what it provides.
For this experience, we’re teaming up with Kellen Parrish, founder of Ocean Cowboy Outfitters—marine scientist, lifelong diver, and the kind of guide who doesn’t just show you the ocean but teaches you how to move within it. Kellen grew up abalone diving and spearfishing with his family before turning that passion into a career in marine science. His work is about creating ocean stewards—people who don’t just experience the water but understand it.

You’ll leave not just with new skills, but with a deeper connection to the coast, the food it provides, and the responsibility that comes with that knowledge.
If you’ve ever wanted to get closer to the water, push past your edges, and harvest your own food from the ocean—this is your chance.
Details coming soon. Let’s dive in.
