Day 1

Touchdown + Lake McDonald Magic

You land in Kalispell and immediately trade airport air for mountain air. Lunch is at Thirty Eight in Whitefish, the kind of place where the produce tastes like summer even when it’s not. From there, it’s a glide intoUnder Canvas Glacier, your safari-style landing pad tucked beneath pines and clean horizons. The day closes at Lake McDonald, the water shifting colors like it’s trying on outfits. A slow dinner, a soft sunset—you're welcome to the West.

Day 2

Hidden Lake, Found Clarity

Glacier National Park reveals itself in layers. You hike the Hidden Lake —5.6 miles round trip, ~1400 ft of gain—past wildflowers, mountain goats, meltwater streams, and peaks standing like elders watching over the valley. By afternoon, you wind into Many Glacier for an early dinner framed by sawtooth mountains. It’s one of those vistas that feels too cinematic to be real, but that’s Montana for you.

Day 3

Camp Brunch + Southward Drift

A slow morning lets your body catch up to your spirit. Camp Yoshi brunch stretches long, warm, and unbothered. Then you move—flying from Kalispell (FCA) to Bozeman (BZN)—before arriving at Under Canvas Yellowstone, where lantern light and canvas walls ease you into a different kind of quiet.

Day 4

Yellowstone Unfiltered

This is your full Yellowstone immersion:
• Upper Geyser Basin, where Old Faithful anchors a whole neighborhood of boiling earth
• A vantage of Grand Prismatic that shows off its impossible colors
• The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, where water and time have carved something sacred
Wildlife appears when it wants—bison in the road, elk in the brush, the possibility of more if the land is in the mood.
You return to camp for a celebratory dinner, the kind that makes strangers feel like family.

Day 5

REST DAY: MOVEMENT, HEAT, STILLNESS

The morning is yours: a stretch, a soak, a moment you don’t have to narrate to anyone. This is the soft middle of the trip—yoga, spa, lounging, journaling, or simply being unavailable in the best way. A good reminder that rest is a practice, not a reward.

Day 6

Fly Out Lighter

Breakfast, sunlight, goodbyes. You leave through Bozeman (BZN), carrying a different pace home with you—one you may try to hold onto long after the plane lands.

This trip is for travelers who want to experience two iconic national parks—Glacier and Yellowstone—in one well-paced journey. Days are spent moving through big landscapes and wildlife-rich terrain, followed by boutique hotel and lodge stays that offer real rest at the end of each day. It’s designed for people who want maximum access without roughing it, and a high-value way to see a lot without feeling rushed.

— Who is this trip designed for?

Had the pleasure of attending a Camp Yoshi excursion in Montana this past August. It was the trip of a lifetime and the highlight of my 2024. The staff curated an amazing experience for us campers. From hiking, to white water rafting, to huddling around a camp fire at night, there wasn’t an aspect of the trip that I didn’t love. In addition the food prepared was great. Looking forward to my next voyage with the company!

— Creighton L.

A truly unforgettable experience. I recently did the Montana trip and from arrival to departure everything in between was taken care of. Every meal was INCREDIBLE. Good people, fantastic views, and top notch hospitality. I can’t wait for my next Camp Yoshi adventure!

Montana Hotel

Your Montana home base camp is Under Canvas Glacier, a safari-style outpost tucked into a sweep of pines just outside the park with showers, restrooms and private bungalows for each camper. It’s the kind of place that reminds you luxury doesn’t have to shout—it can whisper through canvas walls, clean air, and a bed that feels way too comfortable for the wilderness.

Guide

Rashad, is the founder and guiding force behind Camp Yoshi, bringing together culinary craft, outdoor expertise, and a commitment to rest and reconnection. A self-taught chef and seasoned trip leader, he creates experiences where design, flavor, and intention meet. Whether leading a hike or cooking over open fire, Rashad makes the outdoors feel expansive and personal—helping people slow down long enough to hear themselves again.

What You’ll Eat (Montana)

A Camp Yoshi chef cooks for you daily, turning Montana into the kind of dining room you compare everything else to. Fire-kissed mains, fresh local ingredients, and meals that make you wonder if you eat better at home—or out here with us. Comfort, craft, and flavor in every plate. Pictured above is Brioche French Toast w/ toasted nuts, foraged berries, and vanilla infused creme fraiche.

FAQ

Every great adventure begins with a few questions—that’s part of the journey. If you're curious about what’s ahead or wondering if this experience is right for you, our FAQs have you covered. You’ll find thoughtful answers to help you feel confident, grounded, and excited for what’s to come.
Who is this trip designed for? (Montana)

This trip is for people who want range—two iconic places, one thoughtful arc. Glacier to Yellowstone is national park hopping done right: alpine lakes, epic drives, wildlife, and landscapes that feel straight out of a film. You get two legendary destinations in one experience, without feeling rushed or over-programmed.

The pace is active but balanced. Days are filled with scenic hikes, excursions, and long views; nights are about restoration—boutique hotels and glamping sites with warm beds, hot showers, and private rooms so you can actually sleep, reset, and do it again the next day. Chef-prepared meals anchor the experience, bringing everyone back together after full days outside.

If you love big nature but also appreciate good design, good food, and a soft landing at night, this is your trip. It’s for travelers who want awe without burnout, movement without chaos, and the rare feeling of seeing two natural gems—properly—on one unforgettable journey.

Should I purchase trip insurance?

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment—especially for any non-refundable portions.

How can I contact Camp Yoshi?

Visit our Contact page. We might be outside when you hit send, but we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

What is your cancellation policy?

We design our experiences with care and commit early to the people and places that make them possible—farmers, chefs, guides, drivers, and hosts. Because of this, our cancellation policy is built to balance flexibility for our guests with fairness to our partners.

If you cancel 90 or more days before departure, you may choose either a full refund minus a 5% processing fee, or a Camp Yoshi credit valid for 18 months. Credits are transferable and can be applied to any Camp Yoshi experience.

If you cancel between 60 and 89 days before departure, you will receive a 50% refund and a 50% Camp Yoshi credit, valid for 18 months.

If you cancel between 31 and 59 days before departure, you will receive a Camp Yoshi credit for 75% of your total trip cost, valid for 12 months. At this stage, most logistics are locked, but we want to make it possible to join us again when timing allows.

Cancellations made within 30 days of departure are non-refundable, as lodging, food, staffing, and permits have been finalized. In some cases, credits may be considered if we are able to fill your spot. We encourage guests to reach out early—communication matters.

At any point prior to departure, you may transfer your reservation to another guest at no additional cost, provided they meet the trip requirements. This is often the easiest way to recover your full investment.

If Camp Yoshi needs to cancel a trip for any reason, guests will receive a full refund or a full Camp Yoshi credit, at their choice.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment against unexpected changes.

Are allergies and dietary preferences accommodated?

Yes. Food is the heartbeat here. Vegan, gluten-free, pescatarian — we’ll make sure your plate feels thoughtful. Just know this is harvest-to-table, so flexibility helps. If a fisherman pulls in snapper that morning, it’s going on the grill.

Once you make a payment, each camper on your reservation will receive an e-mail asking to complete their Camper Profile where allergies and dietary restrictions can be shared.

Can I arrive late or leave early?

We get it — life happens. But because of how remote some of our trips are, arrivals and departures are coordinated pretty tightly. If you need to arrive late or duck out early, let us know before booking so we can figure out if it’s possible.

Will the itinerary change after booking?

Nature’s the creative director. Weather, permits, or partner shifts may tweak the plan. Nothing cancels—it adapts. You’ll still get the magic, just in a different wrapper.
