Family Trip
2026 : Jun 22 - Jun 25
This experience is for parents who want to actually be present—and for kids who need space to run, splash, climb, and come back to camp tired and smiling. It’s built so parents aren’t coordinating schedules, meals, or gear, and kids get the freedom they crave without things feeling chaotic. It’s for families who know the best trips don’t try to do everything—just the right things.
The ideal age range is 6–14: kids who are ready for river days, lake time, and a little independence, but still think outdoor movie night is a top-tier event. Teens are welcome too, especially the ones who enjoy being outside, moving their bodies, and stepping away from screens (nothing forced, ever).
We bookend the trip in the city to keep things easy, then head out to camp that’s already built and waiting. What happens in between settles into a natural, unrushed rhythm—time outdoors, shared meals, and plenty of space to just be together.
Over four days, we move from Portland into the forests and water near Mount Hood, then back again. Mornings start slow. Afternoons stay loose. Evenings pull everyone back around the table or the fire. Kids float between camp, river, and lake. Parents fall into conversations that don’t feel hurried. Food is simple and good. Sleep comes easily.
All the pieces that usually make family travel feel like work—planning, packing, logistics, decision-making—are handled by our team. There’s nothing to coordinate once you arrive.
This isn’t a drop-off camp or a resort stay.
It’s Camp Yoshi’s Family Trip to Nowhere—a reset that feels just as good on the way home as it does while you’re there.
